RS Lesson and Family

Today I was able to teach :) It has been a while it seems. I teach Relief Society (third Sunday) and it is such a wonderful experience. I truly love it. The lesson went good I think. I had a lot of class participation.
After church we came home and I tried out a new Chicken Pot Pie recipe (YUM!) It turned out great. Then my brother and his family got here. They stayed at our house on their way up to Idaho. My sis-in-law's grandmother passed away and they were on the way to her funeral. We had a great night. Me and my brother stayed up till 3:30 and Lish made it to 3:00 :) It was so fun. Then we got up the next morning and went to the DI (there were actually tons of people standing in lines waiting to get in) LOL. Found some good stuff there. Then we went to walmart. After we were done shopping, we came back and had lunch, then John and his family were getting ready to leave and their van wouldn't start. We found out that his battery was dead (after a trip to checkers) Clint and John and I undid the old battery while Allisha watched all the kids. Clint and John went and bought a new battery and we got it put back together pretty fast. The car worked great. We went and had it tested one more time to make sure everything was powering right. It worked good. They went on their way. We went to BN's tumbling class. It was fun. Then we came home and relaxed and watched Prison Break. I also got BN's b-day invites out. :) go me...two days before the party! at least all the moms already knew :)
Well, I am so so tired. Have a great day!

ESA, Scarecrow Festival, and TICKETS!

Today was so fun. We went to ESA to buy tickets for the upcoming Walk with Dinosaurs live. We are so very excited. At and the time we got there to buy our tickets, they were filming a commercial for KJAZZ and the Jazz so we got to participate (Clint had been invited through his work). It was so fun. So watch KJAZZ in Nov. and Dec. to see if you see us :)
Anyways, after that we took off and went down to Thanksgiving Point to the Scarecrow Festival. It was so fun. Both girls had a great time and the weather was pretty good. Definitely something we will be doing every year from now on. It was so so fun. I will post the pics soon. :)

BYU FOOTBALL GAME

Wow. It was cold, yeah, but Oh my Heck it was so fun! We got new hats, and new shirts (the quest shirts). We wore them over our sweaters :) Because they had so many people sandwiched in there on the bleachers, it really wasn't to bad until the end of the game. For some reason the game didn't start until 4 pm. BLAH! It was very chilly. BUT - no snow, no rain! So I am okay with a little wind. http://www.sltrib.com/Sports/ci_10702218 There is the link to the SL Trib article if you want to read about the game, and there is an online photo gallery there too :) It is Clint's birthday today so we are going out 'on the town' for a while. But I will tell you about his day later...or MAYBE I will get him to actually post :):) That would be great...lol

THe Spirit of God Like a Fire is Burning...

I don't know how else to describe the wonderful spirit that has stuck with me all weekend because of conference. It is so uplifting to listen the talks and have them touch me and "speak to me". We are so blessed to live in this day and age where we can sit in the comfort of our home and hear the Prophet and his Councilors talk to us as if we were sitting in front of him. What a great Church we have becoming and are becoming still. Worldwide people are able to hear those words. That in itself is a miracle.
Anyways. The talks were amazing as always. I felt so inspired and so uplifted. The girls were "being sisters" and "being three" although one is almost four and the other is 1.5 years old. They fight like cats and dogs and love each other as much too. Its fun. BN did get excited when she saw the prophet. She kept saying "LOOK!!! Its the Prophet! Where is he mama?" She liked to listen to him. IT was nice. Clint came home and listened to what was left (after work) in Portuguese on my laptop. :) It was fun.
Then we took a short trip to our storage unit to get Halloween stuff and we spent the rest of the night decorating for Halloween :):):)
Our apt looks awesome. It is mostly for BN's bday coming up soon. We are having a spooky dora costume party :) It will be great.
Well Thanks for reading. Have a great day :)

My Happy Birthday :)

I had such a wonderful day. We relaxed around the house part of the day. We got our empty apt rented (so we get our bonus :) and we got a babysitter :)
We took the girls to our friends and went out to dinner and a movie. We went to Olive Garden (my favorite) :) YUM! yum! I got the tour of Italy. I can't help myself. It is the best of the best. If you haven't ate there or haven't ate there for a while, its time to go back. Anyways, we ate and then went to the movies to watch the movie Hancock, and we realized that we had an hour and half before the movie started. LOL. So we drove home, (like a mile away) and put the leftovers in the fridge. Then we went to the DI. lol. I know. But it was fun. We found some cute stuff. More birthday presents for a tenth of the regular price. :) Then we finally made it back over to the movies. Hancock was fantastic. Oh my heck. It was great. Definantly worth seeing..
The picture you see above is when we got home that night. The girls were so tired (almost midnight) and so we were lucky that this one turned out so good (out of ten) lol. Anyways. I had a great birthday. I feel great. I am so happy. Life is good. Thank you for all of your love and blessings. :)

WHAT a HAPPY day

This turned out to be a fantastic day! :)
I went to the Making Memories Sale and had way to much fun spending way to much money :) Then I had the fun of sitting at the DMV for an hour so I could renew my license. LOL. It wasn't to bad actually. Then I came home to find that Clint had gone shopping while I was away. He had the pile of presents that he bought for my birthday all wrapped (in Christmas paper...lol...that's all we have). How CUTE! And a box came today with a couple of computer things I had ordered. So he added that to the pile as well. :) After lunch, I was getting anxious (as my birthday isn't really until tomorrow :) and I wanted to open my presents right away. (no big surprise). SO Clint got a brownie and put a candle in it and him and both (BOTH) girls sang...mostly...Happy Birthday :) It was so tender.
I got:

-A new carpet sweeper (much needed with a 4 year old and a 1.5 year old.)
-An 8 gb flash drive
-A new dvd burner for my new computer (this gives me two drives)
-The Host (novel by Stephanie Meyer)
-A bunch of Making memories stuff from the sale I went to this morning (hehe)
-New set of metal tongs for the kitchen
-A new set of combs (lol) (inside joke)
and . . . . . . . .
-A Bluetooth Headset !!!!!! :) hehe. Isn't it pretty? :) Ahhh....

Clint's parents got me a pair of beautiful silver and turquoise earrings :) And they donated to my "new shoes" fund :)

My parents took me to the LDS Distribution Center and bought me a new Temple Dress for my birthday. :) It is so pretty. We have doing very well about going to the temple the last couple months. We went on Tuesday to the Jordan River Temple and did sealings. It was beautiful. You could almost hear the saints rejoicing as they were sealed together for Time and All Eternity :) You could definitely feel the spirit. I have been on a great spiritual high this week. Especially after the General Relief Society Meeting on Saturday. I had the pleasure of going with my mother. They drove for more than a few hours to be here with me. It was a blessing.

Well, we are about ready to watch Prison Break...on the computer...since we were visiting family on Monday and didn't get to see it. That was a lot of fun too :) And we got to go watch Clint's little sister play in a volleyball game against RHSM on Tuesday. They beat them in all three games :) It was so fun to watch. Brought back a lot of fun memories from my High School sports days. LOL.

Okay...Okay...I'm done!

Have a great day!

Good Morning

OK. So I really like my new layout design :)
Today I am going to the making memories sale!!! Yea. hehe. It will be so fun. I will let you know how it went when I get back. I also have to get my license renewed before tomorrow or I will be in trouble and have to retake the driving test. lol. Just my luck! Well. I have to get BN ready for school so I will write more later.
